C3 A New Ministry at St. David’s
I hope you have noticed that the St. David’s landscape/gardens are looking refreshed and cleaner over the past month. This is thanks to the work of C3 supported by scholarships from Global Conservation Leaders. The men who are part of this ministry have been worshiping at St. David’s for over a year. Some have had their children baptized at St. David’s and several attended Cursillo. Four men are currently preparing to be confirmed by the Bishop and one is going to be baptized.
C3 stands for Conservation/Clean/Care and it is a program of Global Conservation Leaders which provides support for conservation work worldwide which includes the conservation of people, specifically post-incarcerated individuals who need that first real job in a safe and loving environment.
In August, 2025, C3 was awarded a cleaning and landscaping contract with St. David’s replacing Jan-Pro and Garcia Landscaping. With the support funding from Global Conservation Leaders, C3 provides 7-day-a-week services at St. David’s. Cleaning and preparing the campus in the morning and doing projects during the day, cleaning the preschool in the evening, then cleaning up and securing all buildings after the last group departs.
C3 has completed cleaning and refreshing the Memorial Garden, cleaning the lower lot, trimming the trees in the parking lot , cleaning up the exterior areas of the campus, refreshing the preschool playground and deep cleaning the preschool prior to reopening. They have divided the St. David’s property into zones and are working to refresh each zone.
C3 has team members working at St. David’s from 7 am-10 pm, except when there are needs earlier or later. Gilberto Galarza is the team supervisor and is available at St. David’s from 10 am–6 pm. Please check out their C3 page for more information and to book them for your cleaning and landscaping needs.
