Mission Wildlife – A Life Among Elephants

Global Conservation Leaders Founder and CEO Joy Wolf attended an exclusive May 9 Mission Wildlife screening of “A Life Among Elephants,” the award-winning documentary chronicling the extraordinary life and conservation work of Dr. Iain Douglas-Hamilton, founder of Save the Elephants.

As one of the sponsors of the event, Global Conservation Leaders also had the opportunity to participate in a post-screening Q&A and attend a special reception with Saba Douglas-Hamilton, Frank Pope (CEO) and David Daballen (Director of Field Operations) from Save the Elephants. The event also featured a live animal presentation by Critter Encounters prior to the start of the movie and art creation by Stephen Fishwick during the reception.

Save the Elephants secures a future for elephants through scientific research, high-tech tracking and community-based solutions. They promote human-elephant coexistence, support anti-ivory trade efforts via the Elephant Crisis Fund and empower local communities through education and outreach, thereby ensuring elephants and people thrive together in shared landscapes.
