Balboa Park Volunteer Celebration
More than 800 Forever Balboa Park Volunteers gathered April 4 to be recognized and honored for their timeless volunteerism. Global Conservation Leaders (GCL) Founder and CEO Joy Wolf celebrated her third year of volunteering for Balboa Park at the Visitor’s Center. She looks forward to GCL establishing a partnership with Forever Balboa Park to support diverse conservation initiatives.
Joy particularly wanted to bid farewell and best wishes to Forever Balboa Park’s President and CEO Elizabeth Babcock as she journeys to Washington, DC to take on her new role as founding Director of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum. Joy and GCL have already made an initial donation and promise to support Dr. Babcock in her efforts to open this new museum.
